Huey was adopted in 1995 when he was 12 weeks old from a small hobby breeder in the Queen Charlotte Islands. He was eating solid foods but we continued to spoon feed him twice a day for another 3 weeks. He had not developed the muscles to perch without falling so we lowered the perches to the bottom of the cage and used a folded towel for him to sleep on. A few weeks later he was climbing all over his cage and able to perch without falling. |

CAG Huey and PFLB Peaches seem to be very interested!
Huey is totally devoted to Cindy. When he wants cuddles he will push his head against the side of Cindy's face while she strokes his head and back. |
