| Joey-Bird's hatch date
was approx. 1989. We adopted him from a couple who felt he was lonely after his mate died.
He enjoys being out in the bird room with the rest of the flock.
Joey passed away February 22,
2003, he was 14 years old. When we first got Joey he was cage bound and frightened of everyone. Although he has never become hand tame he will sit on you head and shoulder. He loves being out in the bird-room with the other flock members. |

| Joey is very intelligent. When out, he will immediately return to his cage when asked. Although caged separately, Joey has become very close friends with Peaches. When out of cage, they are constantly preening each other and cuddling closely. | ||
|
Peaches hatch date is May 3, 1995. He is hand raised, very tame and will go to anyone who will allow him to cuddle into their neck. He can say, "pretty bird", "peek" and "Peaches" in a chirpy style voice. |
