site. Her love of parrots lives on by her articles helping people

Jane Hallander
was an avian behavior
consultant who wrote avian behavior and care articles regularly for the Pet Bird Report
and was listed in that publication's list of recommended avian behavior consultants. She
also wrote behavior articles for the African Grey parrot magazine, The Grey Play Round
Table. She lectured at avian events throughout the country, often accompanied by her
African Grey parrot companion, Jing.
